Job summary

A government contracting firm is seeking a senior-level Financial Management Analyst to provide program management services. This role involves managing financial reports and vendor invoices in support of DoD clients. Candidates must have US citizenship, an active Secret Security Clearance, and a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields, with at least 5 years of experience preferred. Strong organizational and analytical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Daily pull of multiple DAI reports and consolidating into SOF Report.
  • Weekly tracking of vendor invoices to ensure payment issues are minimized.
  • Monthly monitoring of Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs) and Unmatched Transactions (UMTs).

Kalman & Company is seeking to hire a senior-level Financial Management Analyst to provide program management services in support of Program Manager Motor Transport efforts. This position is contingent upon contract award and would support DoD clients in Stafford/Quantico, VA.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Daily pull of multiple DAI reports and consolidating into the PM MT Status of Funds (SOF) Report.
  • Weekly pull, review, research, and update the Document Level Execution Report (DLER) for PM MT platforms, submission to FMs for approval, and upload to the MHTV SharePoint site
  • Weekly tracking of vendor/contractor invoices to ensure there are no payment issues.
  • Monthly researching, correcting, and monitoring Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs) and Unmatched Transactions (UMTs)
  • Researching, correcting, and uploading records for BEV/DARQ.
  • Created funding documents in Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI)
  • Submitting approved funding documents to Vendors for acceptance, upload the approved documents to the MAO SharePoint. Create amendments as needed
  • Submitted approved funding documents to Contracts for execution

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • US Citizenship is required
  • Active Secret Security Clearance or ability obtain a Secret Security Clearance
  • Possess an Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline; Master’s Degree a plus
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience required, 10+ years desired•
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate information both verbally and in writing
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills: ability to work with a wide audience
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage tasks/prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
