The role in practice:

• Act as a financial partner to the CEO and management team on both financial and business strategy
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, payroll, VAT, Corporation tax, and statutory accounts
• Develop dashboards and board packs that inform business-critical decisions
• Support M&A activity and funding requirements
• Engage with agency and client leadership on profitability, staffing, and capacity planning
• Build, lead, and mentor a commercially-oriented, high-performing finance team

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in PE-backed environments, M&A, and exit scenarios
• Strong commercial acumen and credibility with senior leadership and external stakeholders
• Experience in marketing, creative, or advertising agencies (Agency, Digital, PR or Marketing Services)
• Chartered accountant (or equivalent) with technical accounting expertise
• Strategic thinker who is also hands‑on in a fast-paced environment

Location: Hybrid but 2 days on sight
