A growing healthcare business in Milton Keynes seeks an experienced Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting and controls. This role requires partnering with senior leadership, managing budgets, and driving cash management initiatives. Ideal candidates will hold a relevant accounting qualification and have 5+ years' experience in finance, preferably in a healthcare or manufacturing environment. The position includes a salary range of £80‑£90k plus pension.

Qualifications

• Strong technical foundations in UK accounting and tax.
• Practical ERP/MRP experience involving financial configuration.
• Proven control mindset and experience with audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage full financial close and reporting cycle.
• Own budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Drive cash, working capital, and treasury management.
• Strengthen financial controls and compliance.
• Support investor and lender reporting.

Skills

Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent

Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience

Strong commercial finance skills

Hands-on technical skills in Excel

Excellent communicator
