Financial Controller | Croatia

I’m looking for an experienced Financial Controller to oversee accounting and consolidation processes for a growing hospitality group in Croatia. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining compliance with local regulations and IFRS standards, and supporting operational teams with financial insights. This is a hands‑on role where your expertise will help optimise processes and contribute to the company’s growth.

Your Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting or financial control, ideally in hospitality or a multi‑entity environment
  • Strong knowledge of local tax regulations, financial reporting, and IFRS standards
  • Excellent computer skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and other accounting software
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills
  • Able to take initiative and work independently while collaborating effectively with teams
Your Responsibilities
  • Organise and oversee all accounting records in line with local regulations and IFRS standards
  • Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and consolidation packs for the group
  • Reconcile accounts, monitor balances, and support audits with internal and external partners
  • Assist in liquidity management, fiscal compliance, and optimisation of accounting procedures
  • Collaborate with teams to continuously improve accounting processes and efficiency
