Working closely with the CFO, you ll ensure financial integrity, lead system improvements, and support a talented finance team.

What You ll Do
  • Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring accurate financial reporting and robust accounting practices.
  • Oversee the year-end audit, maintaining a strong relationship with auditors and ensuring smooth delivery.
  • Manage cash, banking and investments, optimising the charity s use of funds.
  • Support income and accounts payable processes, maintaining effective controls and identifying efficiencies.
  • Drive system transformation, leading the implementation of a new finance system (Exchequer to Business Central).
  • Ensure compliance, upholding financial regulations and internal control standards.
About You
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with solid post-qualification experience.
  • Proven success in managing finance teams and complex financial operations.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and reporting skills.
  • Experience in the charity or retail sector is highly desirable.
  • Confident project leader, ideally with experience in finance system implementation.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
