Position: Financial Controller

Robert Half Finance & Accountancy is recruiting for a Financial Controller based in York.

The Role

The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Management Team (SMT) to ensure a robust financial framework is in place and adhered to, while also producing financial results.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Production and presentation of a monthly financial report to director level
  2. Providing commercial and financial guidance to team members
  3. Business partnering with other department heads
  4. Financial quality control
  5. Managing the finance team
Your Profile

Applicants should meet the following criteria to be considered:

  1. Experience leading a finance function
  2. Proven experience in business partnering
  3. ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualification
  4. Strategic mindset with the ability to communicate a financial vision to non-finance colleagues
  5. Experience with audit processes
  6. Experience setting up and maintaining financial controls
