Job summary

Brandon Trust is seeking a Financial Controller to lead a high‑performing finance team and shape the organisation's financial strategy. You will work closely with the Chief Financial and Commercial Officer and Finance Director to drive resilience, governance and maximum social impact.

This role blends technical accounting excellence with people leadership, guiding system improvements, robust controls and clear financial insight across Brandon to support strategic decisions and long‑term

Qualifications

• Qualified finance leader with professional accounting qualification.
• Significant experience in financial control, accounting, reporting and governance.
• Track record of leading and developing finance teams.
• Experience leading people through change and continuous improvement.
• Strong expertise in treasury management, budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong commercial awareness, judgement and strategic thinking.
• Experience improving systems, processes and financial controls.

What we're looking for

We're looking for a qualified finance leader who combines technical expertise with exceptional people leadership.
