Overview

A multinational business is looking for an accomplished Financial Controller to join its team. The firm embraces flexible and hybrid working, so you will be able to work from home 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead a finance team and work closely with the Finance Director of a £120m turnover firm.
• Deliver accurate, transparent and comprehensive financial reports for the organisation and provide consolidated financial analysis and commentary for the senior leadership team.
• Enhance the company’s financial reporting function and develop robust and transparent financial governance processes and procedures.
• Ensure that all entities within the group comply with relevant taxation requirements and prepare the firm for external audits.
• Support external reporting and compliance and contribute to intercompany accounts within a group structure.
• Uphold the firm’s core values of collaboration, innovation, integrity and kindness; demonstrate composure, organisation and personable leadership.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
• Proven experience of leading a finance team and working within a group structure with intercompany accounts.
• Expertise with management accounts, forecasting, financial planning, analysis, external compliance and reporting; strong technical accounting skills.
