Job summary

An international manufacturing business is seeking a Financial Controller for their UK operations, responsible for producing month-end accounts and leading financial reporting processes across two sites in South Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with extensive experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role offers a salary of £70,000 - £80,000 per annum plus a bonus.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in a similar position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce the month end accounts through to completion.
• Review accounts against plan, explaining any variances.
• Ownership of the daily, weekly and monthly financial reporting processes.
• Sales and margin analysis as required.
• Improvement and audit of internal procedures.
• Management of inventory.

Overview

We have partnered with an international manufacturing business to recruit a Financial Controller for their UK operations. The UK Business turns over in excess of £100m and the role would see you take responsibility for two manufacturing sites in South Yorkshire.

Salary £70,000 - £80,000p/a + Bonus. This is an office based role and you will split your time between both manufacturing plants.

Responsibilities

• Produce the month end accounts through to completion
• Review accounts against plan/ forecast, explaining any variances
• Ownership of the daily, weekly and monthly financial reporting processes
• Sales and margin analysis as required
• Improvement and audit of internal procedures
• Ownership of financial transactions, forecasts and plans
• Present data to management as and when required
• Key contact point and responsibility for internal and external audits
• Cost accounting
• Management of inventory
• Review of production variances

To be considered you will be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a number of years of experience in a similar position in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
