Job summary

Reed in the United Kingdom is seeking a commercially focused Financial Controller to lead the finance function in a growing manufacturing business. This interim or permanent role reports to the Managing Director and offers real influence across the organisation.

You will deliver robust financial control, monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and commercial modelling, while developing relationships with senior stakeholders and the finance team.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with senior finance experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or FMCG is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with commercial acumen.

A growing manufacturing business is looking to appoint a commercially focused Financial Controller to provide strong financial leadership and support the next phase of its development. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a high-profile role with real influence across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Leading the finance function and ensuring robust financial control.

About You

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience operating in a senior finance role. You'll combine strong technical expertise with commercial awareness and the confidence to challenge, influence and support business decisions.

Experience within manufacturing, FMCG or another operational environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
