Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a Financial Controlling Manager on behalf of a leading business based in Essex. The successful applicant will play a critical role in partnering with senior management to drive business performance and ensure financial integrity.

Our client is looking for someone with a strong background operating in a similar role who can demonstrate strong analytical skills, has experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and business case preparation.

Key duties
  • Overseeing the financial reporting process
  • Providing insights to management to drive business performance
  • Managing the Financial Controlling team whilst working closely with the wider accounting team
  • Identifying opportunities to improve profitability
  • Drive the implementation of new reporting tools and processes
  • Working closely with the management team including MD and Directors
  • Ensure a smooth closing process liaising with Finance and other stakeholders across the business
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process
Skills required
  • Over 5 years’ experience in financial controlling
