Compensation: £70k – £90k + bonus + wider benefits + potential for equity

Cedar have been retained by an ambitious business in their journey towards an exit. Over the past few years, the company has experienced great growth, both organically and through strategic M&A activity and they are now in a strong position to start expanding their senior team as they begin their journey towards an exit.

This has provided a superb opportunity to work alongside a strong leadership team and partner with senior stakeholders across the business to provide technical accounting expertise and shape reporting and governance in a multi-entity, high-growth environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Act as the main POC for group statutory reporting and consolidation
  • Manage the external audit process and act as the key auditor contact.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance, including new standards and complex transactions.
  • This individual will also be given the opportunity to participate in meetings with their new investors to help bolster your experience and prepare you for future promotions.
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualfied accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/ICAS or equivalent) with relevant PQE.
  • Strong technical grounding, ideally trained in an audit firm.
  • Recent experience in an investor-backed business is ideal
  • The company prioritises confident, high-energy individuals who are intellectually curious.
