Job summary

Euro-Projects Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Financial Controller in Manchester to lead UK finance, report to the Managing Director, and position for potential Finance Director progression as the business grows beyond £100m turnover.

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA), with strong manufacturing costing experience and SAP proficiency, comfortable in a multinational SME environment, and capable of driving cost control and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA and strong technical accounting background.
• Proven ability to deliver accurate management and statutory reporting.
• Experience in manufacturing costing and inventory management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead UK finance, reporting to the Managing Director and act as finance lead in the UK.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost control and manufacturing costing.
• Oversee treasury, accounting, controls and compliance in a growing SME.
• Support succession planning toward FD/UK CFO as turnover milestones are reached.

This is a financial controller jobs role. However it reports directly into the MD and due to the growth of the business in the UK (to over £100m t/o) we are also happy to look at FD / Finance Director candidates. The role reports directly to the UK Managing Director and is the number one in finance in the UK.
