About Our Client

Our client is a PE backed SME in Bristol with an exceptional reputation. Due to recent investment, they are looking to bolster the finance team to assist with the next part of their growth journey.

Job Description

Reporting to the CFO the Financial Controller will oversee a sizeable team and will be responsible for all Monthly and Annual reporting for the business.



Key responsibilities to include:

• Oversee all financial and management reporting as well as the transactional finance team.
• Oversee the finance and tax functions, manage the month end and year end process and review the firms' performance.
• Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities.
• Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systems.
• Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors; Manage preparation and support of all external audits

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

• Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
• Strong background in financial and management reporting.
• Comprehensive understanding and experience with financial management and reporting tools.
• Ability to liaise with non finance leaders and explain complex financial.
• Strong leadership qualities and organisational skills.
