Trinity House Group are working in partnership with a highly acquisitive business based in the heart of Birmingham. They are looking to appoint a Financial Controller to play a key role in shaping their next phase of growth.

The Opportunity

This is a newly created role designed to provide greater financial insight and control as the business continues its expansion journey. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, helping to drive performance through best-in-class management reporting and robust cash flow forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the production of accurate and insightful monthly management accounts and board packs.
  • Develop and maintain detailed cash flow forecasts to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Strengthen financial controls and reporting processes across the group.
  • Partner with operational and commercial teams to improve financial visibility and profitability.
  • Support M&A activity, integration of new acquisitions, and ongoing system/process improvements.
About You
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with post‑qualified experience in an SME or mid‑market environment.
  • Strong technical and analytical background, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proven track record in management reporting and cash flow forecasting.
  • Confident communicator, able to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable in a fast‑paced, evolving business with multiple workstreams.
