Job Description
  • Oversee the Financial Compliance Team and related functions, ensuring smooth and accurate delivery of core finance processes.
  • Lead statutory financial reporting for housing and subsidiary companies and support Group Accounts preparation.
  • Manage rent and service charge setting, treasury, cashflow, and day-to-day compliance.
  • Support the Head of Finance with regulatory, funding, and audit processes.
  • Lead finance systems administration, transformation projects, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop reporting tools to monitor KPIs, regulatory returns, and operational performance.
  • Provide clear financial guidance and insight to senior stakeholders across the organisation.
The Successful Applicant
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA).
  • Minimum 3 years' people management experience.
  • Proven experience in housing sector finance, statutory reporting, treasury, and tax compliance.
  • Expertise in loan accounting, VAT, Corporation Tax, and cashflow management.
  • Track record of improving financial reporting and implementing finance system solutions.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate financial insight clearly.
  • Methodical, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
