Overview

Our client is seeking a Financial Business Partner to collaborate with various departments, providing essential financial insight and analysis that drive informed business decisions. This pivotal position plays a key role in facilitating strategic planning and ensuring accountability for financial targets. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of six years' relevant experience and be able to develop a thorough understanding of the financial position and performance of their designated entities. You will support strategic decision-making and drive business growth through financial analysis, guiding the development of business cases, capital proposals, and other initiatives. Additionally, you will manage financial models for budgeting and forecasting while identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to enhance performance.

Job Duties
  • Develop a deep understanding of the financial position and performance of the entities under responsibility.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support the development of business cases, capital expenditure proposals, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the business and make recommendations to improve performance.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of financial systems, processes, and controls to improve the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of six years' relevant experience.
  • Educated to A Levels standard, or equivalent.
  • Attainment of a relevant professional qualification, e.g., ACCA, ICA, or equivalent.
  • Strong financial modelling skills and the ability to analyse complex data and information.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to build morale and team spirit and act as an ambassador of the Group's values.
