Job summary

WPR is recruiting on behalf of a Lloyd’s market business for a Finance Assistant to join its finance team in London. This role suits someone with transactional finance experience who wants to specialise in insurance and take on more technical ledger work.

You’ll process payments, perform bank reconciliations, posting journals, support month‑end, and respond to queries. Experience with multi‑currency accounts and strong Excel skills are desirable; ACCA/ACA/CIMA part qualification is helpful.

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance or accounts assistant role, ideally within insurance or financial services.
• Confidence with bank reconciliations and journal posting.
• Good Excel skills; experience with SUN or SAP is a plus.
• Qualified or Part qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA.
