Overview of role

Freed From is seeking a talented and detail‑oriented Financial Analyst to join its dynamic team. If successful you will be responsible for analysing financial data, preparing insightful reports, and supporting strategic decision‑making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Building financial models using traditional methods to allow the Group to forecast margins on products it sells.
• Assisting in the preparation and delivery of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to the Group’s management to assist with financial planning.
• Using the work created to assist the Group and its Producers by identifying trends and variances.
• Preparing comprehensive financial models, reports and presentations for senior management.
• Conducting market and competitor analysis to inform business strategy.
• Developing and maintaining financial models for new projects and investments.
• Assisting the management of the Group’s compliance with financial regulations and developing internal policies.
• Understanding or being prepared to assist the Group’s management team’s understanding of the different pricing levels required by different types of buyers within the drinks industry.
• To be aware of and flexible to changes in the industry in which the Group operates to better construct and adjust financial models to ensure profitability.
• Assisting the Group’s management in its objective of investing with confidence in Producers with whom it works who may be seeking external financing.
• Assisting and supporting the financial control team of the Freed From Group in the preparation of correct and accurate financial control of the Group.
• Assisting and advising the management of Freed From on the likely long‑term cost and benefit outcomes of the choices it is now making with Producers.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree ideally in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field that shows similar skills.
• Candidates with experience as Financial Analyst(s) or similar role shall be preferred.
• An advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
• A strong and obvious analytical and problem‑solving skill set.
• Be an excellent communicator with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
