Job summary

Google is seeking a Financial Analyst to support its dynamic Marketing business. The role focuses on financial modeling, budgeting, and performance tracking to guide strategic decisions across Google products.

As part of the Finance team, you will manage one of Google’s largest expense areas, ensuring sound budget management and insightful analyses. Collaboration with cross-functional partners will be essential to drive sustainable growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in FP&A, consulting, or a related function.
  • Experience executing full-cycle FP&A including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling in a multinational setting.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a sustainable EMEA marketing function by enabling sound financial decision-making.
  • Execute complex analytics to deliver business results and ensure sound quarterly forecasts and minimal FvA variances.
  • Build and scale analytical capabilities from dashboards to AI-enabled solutions.
  • Partner with Marketing, align with the champion-challenger framework, and manage multi-million dollar product area budgets.
  • Drive a culture of performance via KPIs and ambitious yet achievable goals.

Job description

  • 2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function.
  • Experience executing full-cycle financial planning and analysis functions including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling within a multinational company setting.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function.
  • Experience executing full-cycle financial planning and analysis functions including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling within a multinational company setting.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with building financial reporting, producing analysis, implementing scalable monitoring and implementing reporting solutions.
  • Experience in developing strategies in fast-paced engaging environments, impeccable business judgment for resource allocation decisions to achieve the desired business outcome.
  • Ability to work with data to produce analysis, influencing decision making with numerical analysis and generating insights.

In this role, you will work on Google’s dynamic Marketing business. Using your analytical skills, excellent relationship skills, and solid business partnering, you will help manage one of Google’s largest expenses to drive sustainable growth. You will play a key role in effective budget management, performance reviews, and process transformation.
