Job description
Financial Analyst (12-Month Contract)

We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our finance team and support complex monthly reporting, consolidations, and data insights across our UK and USA Nuclear Division groups. This is a high-impact position with exposure to directly support senior leadership and global operations. In this role, you will dive deep into the "why" behind financial movements, performing bridge analysis, reconciling differences across multiple ERP systems, and helping leaders interpret results within OneStream.

Your Challenge:
  • Manage the preparation of month end board reports of the division for Group Reporting
  • Prepare the budget and forecast consolidations of the division, including the presentation to Group
  • Complete detailed bridge analysis over key financial KPIs each month such as revenue, gross profit, operating profit and cash flow down to General Ledger level
  • Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts of the division
  • Improve automation of divisional reporting files
  • Review and actions identified and progressed of monthly consolidated division results in Onestream
  • Collation, reporting and interpretation for commentary of non-financial KPIs in Onestream and in monthly reports
  • Co‑ordinate, assess and implement with Group Finance on changes or developments to Onestream reporting
  • Ad‑hoc analysis and queries as required
What You Bring:
  • Strong finance background
  • Experience of financial reporting in a large, multi‑currency corporates
  • Advanced Excel reporting skills
  • Exposure to Financial Consolidation software (Onestream, Joiin, Quicken, Planful) and ERP systems
  • Part qualified or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, etc.)
  • Mergers and Acquisitions experience desired
