Job summary

Trace is seeking a Finance Analyst for a long-term FTC with a leading Wealth and Investment Management firm. You will prepare the monthly management accounts pack and provide analytical insight to senior stakeholders.

Working with the finance team, you will drive cost reporting, planning and forecasting, improve MI and financial processes, and support key finance projects. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with cost management reporting experience.
• First-class interpersonal skills for communicating with senior management and external stakeholders.
• Excellent systems and data visualization skills including MS Excel.
• Immediately available / short notice period.

Our client is a very successful, listed Wealth and Investment Management firm with a requirement for a Finance Analyst to join the team on a long term FTC. The company has over £150 billion of assets under management/administration and a network of offices around the UK.

Reporting to a Finance Business Partner, the main purpose of this role is to provide meaningful internal reporting and analysis to the senior stakeholders.

Your Role

• Preparing the monthly management accounts pack for review.
• Working with senior stakeholders to provide analytical insight including cost reporting, planning & forecasting.
• Improving the management information and financial processes.
• Working closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Providing high quality analysis, insight and decision support to the Finance Business Partner.
• Involvement in finance projects.

Your Skills and Qualifications

• Ideally a qualified accountant with strong cost management reporting and analysis experience.
• First-class interpersonal skills for communicating with senior management and external stakeholders.
• Excellent systems and data visualisation skills including MS Excel.
• Immediately available / short notice period.
