Finance Analyst

Location: Reading, Berkshire – Hybrid

Salary - £40,000 - £50,000 DOE

Start date: 1st December 2025

Contract: 12 Months (Maternity cover)

Albion Rye Associates are looking for an experienced finance analyst, or accounting executive to cover a 12-month maternity contract with a renowned CRO that operate worldwide.

Our client is looking for an experienced accountant/finance analyst to join their diverse team for 12 months. They cover every aspect of improving global health, from clinical trials to revolutionising health data management systems. Contributing to the quicker access of treatment worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Analyse monthly expenses across cost centres and prepare monthly journal entries.
  • Ensure all financial and accounting records are accurately maintained for internal use and external audits.
  • Work independently and meet monthly reporting deadlines.
  • Use ERP finance modules for journal posting and reporting (PeopleSoft preferred)
Requirements
  • General Ledger (GL) accounting experience is essential.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Data analysis and technical accounting skills. Experience with ERP systems.
  • Prioritise and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Communication skills: liaise and build relationships with colleagues, managers, business stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree OR
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) plus 5 year’s accounting experience OR
  • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience
