Reports to: Financial Controller

Responsibilities

You’ll play a key role in our financial operations, supporting everything from monthly close processes to strategic analysis. Expect variety, ownership, and impact.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and P&L preparation
• Conduct margin analysis and support budgeting/forecasting
• Own the end-to-end monthly close process—from journal entries to commentary
• Review and support payment runs
• Analyse loss-making customers and support annual RPI reviews

Qualifications

• Solid experience in finance, including month-end and financial reporting
• Studying or planning to study for accountancy qualifications (ACCA/CIMA/AAT)
• Strong Excel skills and IT literacy
• Excellent communication—both written and verbal
• Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines independently
