Financial Analyst

6-month contract

£30-32 per hour

Full time, hybrid (3 days in Central London office)

We’re partnering with a leading global interactive gaming company to find a talented Financial Analyst.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role within a high-growth, data-driven organisation as you’ll support a number of shared business segments (digital and online), working closely with finance leadership to enhance reporting standards, streamline processes, and drive strategic decision‑making.

This role is perfect for someone with strong analytical ability, excellent technical skills, and a passion for turning data into insight.

What You’ll Do
  • Support monthly reporting, forecasting, and annual planning
  • Provide key metrics and KPIs on time
  • Work with Accounting on month‑end close, invoicing and revenue recognition
  • Track expenses and headcount across the group
  • Partner with Commercial Finance on annual plans and forecasts
  • Spot opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Break down complex issues and give clear recommendations
  • Use data visualisation tools to present insights
  • Help build financial models, dashboards and reporting tools
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis for different business areas
  • Assist with market and competitor analysis
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar (or equivalent experience)
  • Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) a plus
  • 3+ years’ experience in FP&A or a similar finance role
  • Ideally experience in a Top 4 Accounting firm
  • Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint and reporting tools (e.g., TM1, Anaplan, Salesforce, Power BI)
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical ability and financial modelling experience
  • Proactive mindset and interest in improving processes
  • Confidence managing complex projects
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Proven experience driving operational improvements
