Job summary

Bupa seeks a Financial Administrator at Manor Court Care Home in Southall to handle invoicing, income processing, banking and debt management, liaising with Local and Health Authorities.

You will support payroll, purchasing, and supplier payments, ensure proper documentation for admissions, safeguard resident funds, and maintain filing systems while delivering friendly, person-centred service to residents and families.

Qualifications

  • You've worked as a Financial Administrator before with experience in providing excellent customer service.
  • Friendly, approachable, organised with an eye for detail and the ability to build strong relationships with residents, their families and internal/external teams.

Responsibilities

  • Use bespoke software to raise invoices, process income including cash allocation, complete banking and take appropriate action in relation to debt management.
  • Liaising with Local and Health Authorities to ensure information and payment is received.
  • Ensuring correct and complete documentation including Terms and Conditions are provided and recorded for all admissions.
  • Safeguarding monies on behalf of residents and funds raised by the home, recording and reconciling transactions to bank statements.
  • Ensuring effective administration of purchasing and supplier payments, management of petty cash transactions and replenishment.
  • Processing of employee related information and payroll to ensure staff information and payments are accurate and timely.
  • Providing clerical support to the Home Manager, including letter writing, memos and local management reporting.
  • Maintaining a well-ordered filing system, stationery replenishment and personnel file management.

Salary: £26,422.50 - £33,595.85 per annum depending on experience

Contract: Permanent - 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday

Welcome bonus: £1000*

About Manor Court Care Home

A purpose-built residential care home, Manor Court offers a range of tailored care options for short or long term needs. Care is provided to people living with dementia, Parkinson’s and Huntington's disease and also to the young physically disabled. Palliative care is also available. The home consists of four separate houses each offering comfortable accommodation with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Landscaped gardens complete with furnished patio areas, raised flower beds and two sensory gardens provide an ideal setting to relax or socialise. The home also offers a double room, ideal for couples. Manor Court recognises the importance of healthy and nutritious food. The in-house chef has created a range of seasonal menus to ensure residents receive a balanced diet. A hot and cold option is always made available so that all tastes are catered for. Residents are encouraged to take part in daily activities such as film nights, exercise sessions and coffee mornings to socialise and get to know staff and other residents.

You’ll help us make health happen by:

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role

You’ve worked as a Financial Administrator before with experience in providing excellent customer service and you’ll have a friendly manner both face to face and over the phone. You’re approachable, organised, have an eye for detail and the ability to build strong relationships with our residents, their families and internal/external teams. You're dedicated, efficient and can handle a varied workload, and importantly, your caring attitude underpins everything you do - to make a real difference to people’s lives.
