Financial Accountant (Reporting) — Permanent / Hybrid | London / Leeds | Full time | Employee

The Opportunity

Join our Reporting Centre of Excellence team. If you’re part-qualified with a knack for numbers and a passion for making data meaningful, this could be your next big move. You’ll be part of a team focused on delivering top‑tier financial reporting and gaining exposure across the finance function.

Your new role

You’ll be diving into corporate reporting, helping us keep our financial data sharp and consistent, and working with a mix of internal and external stakeholders to keep things running smoothly. You’ll work with a variety of reporting and analytics tools and contribute to continuous improvement.

Main responsibilities
  • Producing reports and working with data to deliver accurate financial results
  • Spotting ways to improve how we work via automation, smarter processes, better controls
  • Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues in our offshore shared services centre
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders to keep service levels high
  • Running checks to make sure our data is solid and reliable
  • Making adjustments and entries in our systems to support group reporting
  • Jumping in on ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests
About You
  • You’re part-qualified/ newly qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar) or have solid experience in a finance role
  • You’ve worked in financial services, but we’re open to other industries too; soft skills matter just as much
  • You’re all about continuous improvement and love finding better ways to do things
  • You’ve got a sharp eye for detail and care about quality and control
  • You’re digitally curious and excited by data analytics and reporting
  • You’ve used tools like Oracle, HFM, Hyperion, Wdesk or Alteryx or you’re keen to learn
