Job Title : Interim Financial Accountant

Location : Oxford, Oxfordshire (5 days per week on-site)

Contract Type : Interim (Full-time)

We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Interim Financial Accountant to join our finance team based in Oxford . This is a full-time role requiring a commitment to 5 days per week in the office .

Key Responsibilities :

• Take ownership of the month-end close process for assigned business areas, ensuring timely and accurate journal entries and maintaining high-quality reconciliations.
• Manage and reconcile balance sheet accounts , resolving discrepancies and improving the audit trail and transparency of supporting schedules.
• Collaborate with internal teams to further develop Microsoft Dynamics ERP , enhancing automation and accuracy within financial accounting.
• Actively contribute to finance transformation projects , working towards building best-in-class finance systems and processes.

Requirements :

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a similar financial accounting or technical accounting role.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP / IFRS.
