The Opportunity

As part of our continued growth in the Leeds office, we are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance Reporting team. This role has opened up as we expand our capabilities and is a brilliant chance to step into a position that blends technical expertise with strategic impact.

You will be supporting the integrity and delivery of financial management and regulatory reporting, helping us meet executive corporate statutory and regulatory requirements while maintaining strong financial control.

Your New Role

You will be part of a team focused on delivering high‑quality reporting and insight. From shaping strategy to refining processes, your work will help drive performance and ensure we meet our obligations with confidence.

Main responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of the team’s business plan to maximise productivity and performance.
  • Participate in meetings to share and develop strategy knowledge and best practice.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Refine processes, procedures and systems to improve efficiency and financial control.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including internal and external auditors.
  • Support the production and submission of executive board statutory, regulatory and Group finance reports.
  • Deliver strong analytical and financial insight across all reporting responsibilities.
  • Monitor and review internal processes to ensure robust controls and compliance.
  • Lead and deliver continuous process improvements.

Skills You’ll Need
  • Part‑qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or relevant experience.

  • Working knowledge of accounting software and tools.
  • Experience in structured process improvement within an accounting environment.
  • Confidence in building controls into processes.
  • A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
