Financial Accountant | £40,000 - £48,000 | West Malling, Kent (1 day WFH) A successful and growing organisation is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their central finance function on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for a newly qualified or finalist-level accountant looking to take on broad responsibility within a fast-paced environment, supporting both routine reporting and wider commercial finance activity.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all accounts.
• Manage stock reconciliation processes, validating data between internal systems and ERP platforms.
• Support the month-end and year-end reporting cycles, producing high-quality financial information for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure statutory, legal and group reporting requirements are met in line with relevant deadlines.
• Act as a key contact for both internal and external audit teams.
• Provide financial insight and analysis to senior management when required.
• Assist with additional projects, reporting tasks and ad-hoc finance initiatives across the department.
