Financial Accountant £45,000 - £60,000 Based in Warrington

Do you want to assist the head of a divisional finance team and have a strategic input into the running the division of a highly successful blue chip business?

This role will allow you the scope and exposure to help steer this business and also be part of a wider group of companies so you can draw on their support and experience. They want someone who can help make a difference and implement change where needed!

The role will be get heavily involved with non finance teams such as sales and you will bring technical finance support to the business partner the General Manager and provide relevant financial information when needed and also be heavily involved with the P+L and balance sheet work. A great mix of commercial and technical!

Day to day duties

• Assisting the Head of Finance with financial decision making while supporting and working collaboratively with non finance teams
• Focus in on business control activities that add value to the business
• . Technical and financial accounting on a day to day basis
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors
• Review, monitor and improve internal control processes
• Financial reporting and developing scorecards etc to support strategic decision making
• Business governance, securing legal and stat compliance
