The company is an award‑winning leader in enterprise‑level Wi‑Fi, Point‑to‑Point, and security technologies, and it is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its friendly and diligent team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract with the possibility of a permanent role.

As their Financial Accountant, you will be instrumental in maintaining the financial health of the organisation. You will be responsible for preparing accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting internal and external audits. This is a key role where your insights will directly contribute to strategic decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate journal entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax filings.
  • Perform shipping reconciliations.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Monitor and improve financial controls and processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Oversee the Credit Control Function.
  • Oversee the Purchase Ledger Function.

  • Part‑qualified accountant with a strong understanding of financial principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills and thorough attention to detail.

  • Clean driving licence and own car are essential due to our rural Oxfordshire location.
