Job summary

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Interim Financial Accountant to support the Financial Services team during a period of transformation and hospital redevelopment.

You will lead balance sheet integrity, reconcile control accounts, support month-end and year-end processes, and work on the rollout of the Oracle Fusion finance system, ensuring timely, accurate reporting within NHSE requirements.

Qualifications

Job description

• Assist in the completion of the Trust's monthly and annual NHSE returns, ensuring that these represent a true and fair view and meet financial timescales and legal requirements, interpreting these where necessary.
• Support the Head of Financial Services and Financial Controller throughout the year-end process and rollout of new Oracle Fusion finance system.
• Be the lead on the Trust's Balance Sheet ensuring control accounts are reconciled and reviewed promptly and liaising with other departments within Finance to understand and clear outstanding items
• Manage and provide effective leadership to cash management, VAT and Charitable Funds.
• Support staff development within the Financial Services team.
