Job summary

Beyond Housing UK is seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to support accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting across the organisation in Redcar. This permanent, full‑time role maintains robust financial controls and manages fixed assets and grant accounting.

You will contribute to VAT and tax requirements, balance sheet reconciliations, audit preparation and continuous improvement of financial systems and processes, working closely with the wider finance team.

Job description

• Salary - £46,710 per annum
• Location - Redcar
• Type - Permanent, full-time role
• Closing date - Friday 16 October 2026

As financial accountant, you will support the delivery of accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting across Beyond Housing. Working as part of our finance team, you will maintain strong financial controls, manage fixed asset and grant accounting, support balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with VAT and tax requirements. You will also contribute to year-end accounts, audit preparation and continuous improvement across financial systems and processes.

We are looking for a qualified accountant with strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate work to agreed deadlines. You will bring experience of financial controls, month-end and year-end processes, financial systems and reconciliations, alongside the confidence to communicate clearly, work collaboratively and build effective relationships across the organisation.
