Overview

Adecco are delighted to be supporting their client in recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join their team based in Wantage!

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain ledger activity, ensuring journal entries are timely and accurate
  • Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts and key balance sheet items
  • Assist with tax compliance and contribute to preparation of tax submissions
  • Reconcile shipping transactions and related financial records
  • Provide documentation and support for both internal and external audit reviews
  • Strengthen financial controls and enhance reporting workflows
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure consistent and accurate financial data
  • Lead credit control and accounts payable operations
Qualifications
  • Part Qualified- preferably within CIMA or ACCA
  • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
  • Calm and focused under pressure, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience with ERP platforms
  • Comfortable working collaboratively and meeting tight deadlines
