Financial Accountant

Qualified Financial Accountant required for a Market Drayton based Landscape Products / Estate Property company.

Salary level - £50,000 - £55,000 plus Bonus, 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Key duties involve managing while retaining hands‑on knowledge with all accounting processes, including management accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting & more.
  • Providing financial advice & strategy to senior management to support decision‑making & future planning.
  • Oversee a small finance team, ensuring targets/deadlines & accuracy are achieved.
  • Provide financial analysis, take a lead on improving processes/systems & ensure compliance with financial regulators.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience in a similar position with ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified.
  • Experience in process improvement, strong communication skills to build internal / external relationships at all levels, along with being able to manage workloads & meet deadlines.
  • Key MS Excel skills, experience in a range of financial systems with a hands‑on and proactive working approach.
  • Ideally, experience within small/medium‑sized organisations in a hands‑on and varied role.
  • Specific experience required: export experience, online/digital sales, VAT partial exemption, and strong IT knowledge.
