Job description

Our client are an innovative service sector business based in Lancashire. Their solutions power businesses through sophisticated software and managed services.

They are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant who will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting across their group of companies, working closely across the Finance Team and other departments to ensure compliance, efficiency, and insightful analysis is provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Manage credit card reconciliations and expense allocations.
  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition.
  • Process payroll analysis and journal postings for US and Canadian entities.
  • Administer Concur Expenses system and manage supplier payments.
  • Support audit, tax, and year-end processes.
  • Balance sheet recs for different subsidiaries
  • Perform variance analysis and provide commentary.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Deputise for the Financial Controller when required.

You are looking for a fully Qualified, experienced Accountant with a technical bias but good working knowledge of management accounts. You will also have strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance, excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
