Financial Accountant – Financial Reporting & Controls
Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office)

The Role:
We are seeking a technically strong Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) to join their Finance team in London. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the integrity of our financial reporting, maintaining robust financial controls, and supporting continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the month-end and year-end financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and review statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Maintain strong internal controls, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Partner with auditors during annual audits and assist with regulatory filings.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Provide financial insight to senior management and support decision-making with data-driven analysis.
- Drive process improvements and automation within financial reporting and control frameworks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Product, and Commercial teams to ensure financial accuracy across the business.
About You:
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification (Big 4 or top-tier practice background desirable).
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial reporting experience (UK GAAP / IFRS).
- Excellent understanding of financial controls and compliance frameworks.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with modern accounting systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
