OVERALL SUMMARY

Join the Close Brothers Finance Team where you will be responsible for the management of the Treasury systems from a finance perspective, and leading process improvements for the Treasury Finance team. Working as part of the Finance team our ideal team member will have previous experience in validating system improvements from a finance perspective with excellent stakeholder management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop reporting functionality in conjunction with system management
  • Actively drive improvements (both processes and systems) for the team, representing the team on relevant forums and committees
  • Document key processes in a clear and concise way
  • Own the statutory reporting, quarterly regulatory reporting, management information production and day to day finance control processes for the Treasury and securitisation structures
  • Provide oversight and analysis on projects that impact Treasury
  • Liaise with external auditors as and when needed
  • Provide cover to the Treasury finance team as needed
  • Facilitate/participate in knowledge sharing across the team
  • Engage with and effectively manage key stakeholders, ensuring they are engaged with the Treasury finance team
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
  • ACA, CA, ACCA, CIMA qualified
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced excel skills, competent at working with large volumes of data.
  • An Ability to work to and effectively manage tight deadlines.
  • The ability to proactively identify risks and drive resolutions forward.
  • Experience collaborating with others across functional lines and multiple locations.
  • Interest in and a demonstrable ability of improving processes.
  • Good technical knowledge and a strong interest in understanding commercial operations and the key drivers of value within the business.
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:
  • Previous knowledge and experience of accounting requirements within the Financial Services sector, or a strong desire to learn if no demonstrable experience.
  • Experience of working with SAP (ECC and SA40)
  • Previous experience of working with Treasury systems, e.g. T24 / TMS
