The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience in high-growth environments. Overview

Cedar is supporting a Private Equity backed business with huge growth ambitions in their hire for a Financial Accountant. You will be supporting consolidations, M&A integration, and both IFRS and US GAAP reporting. Working closely with an outstanding Group Head of Finance, you’ll gain exposure across transactions, controls, and high-level reporting.

What you’ll do
  • Assist with M&A accounting, onboarding new acquisitions, and IFRS 15 revenue reviews
  • Prepare accounting papers for key transactions and strengthen reporting processes
  • Assist in Group consolidation and external reporting, supporting both IFRS and US GAAP requirements.
  • Support the production of monthly management accounts and Group Annual and Quarterly reports
  • Prepare accounting papers for key transactions, including M&A, financing, structuring, and hedging.
  • Support IFRS 15 reporting across local entities, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and smooth onboarding of new acquisitions.
  • Drive post-acquisition reviews, analysing goodwill, capitalisation, and integration impacts.
