Job summary

Michael Page Finance is seeking a Financial Accountant based in Hertfordshire to manage and streamline financial processes, prepare reports, reconcile ledgers, and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will support budgeting, assist year-end audits, monitor cash flow, and provide analysis to support decision-making, collaborating across departments.

Applicants should hold ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent, strong Excel skills, and prior experience in the property sector is a plus.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, ACA or CIMA.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and management accounts.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience in the property industry (preferred but not essential).
