A charitable organization in Edinburgh is seeking a Finance Transformation Planning and Forecasting Project Manager to enhance financial planning and forecasting processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the charitable sector, combining technical financial skills with project management expertise. This role offers a full-time contract with a salary range of £47,792.23 - £51,101.95, alongside generous benefits including 25 days annual leave and flexible working arrangements.

The Finance Transformation Planning and Forecasting Project Manager will lead initiatives focused on improving the accuracy, agility, and strategic value of financial planning and forecasting across the organisation. They will drive improvements to budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring they are responsive, transparent, and aligned with service delivery goals-supporting better resource allocation and long‑term sustainability in a not‑for‑profit environment.
Full Time Salary: £47,792.23 - £51,101.95 pro rata
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 per week
Contract Type: 12 Months Fixed Term
Full–time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part‑time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

The successful candidate will be a highly experienced finance professional, likely with a solid background in financial management within the charitable or not‑for‑profit sector. They would combine technical financial expertise with strategic insight and operational competence.
This ideal individual would be confident using complex finance systems such as NetSuite or similar ERP platforms, and would demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office. They would be meticulous, with a strong understanding of month‑end processes, journal accuracy, data governance, and audit compliance.
They would possess proven project management skills, particularly in leading finance‑related change initiatives and engaging effectively with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation. Their commercial and financial awareness would enable them to make informed, pragmatic decisions that balance financial prudence with organisational goals.
