ABOUT THE ROLE

The Bamford Collection is seeking a qualified and detail-driven Finance Transformation Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract to lead the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Business Central for the finance function, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.

This role will act as the bridge between finance, IT, and external vendors to deliver a robust ERP solution that supports business growth and operational efficiency across our brands; Daylesford Organic, Bamford and Daylesford Stays.

40 hours a week and 5 days in the office, based in Kingham, Oxfordshire.

SALARY £80,000 per annum dependant on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the Finance Workstream: Take ownership of the finance workstream within our ERP implementation programme, driving progress, managing timelines, and ensuring full alignment with wider business objectives.

Shape Future Systems: Partner with key stakeholders to define and deliver finance requirements across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and reporting ensuring our new Business Central system is configured to best support the business.

Champion Data Accuracy: Oversee finance data migration, validation, and reconciliation to guarantee accuracy, integrity, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.

Drive Testing & Change Readiness: Design and deliver robust user acceptance testing for finance modules, supporting training and change management to embed new systems and ways of working across teams.

Collaborate & Influence: Serve as the bridge between Finance, IT, and our implementation partners, providing clear communication, managing expectations, and reporting progress to senior leadership and project governance committees.

SKILLS YOU WILL BRING
  • Proven experience leading ERP implementations, ideally Microsoft Business Central or similar finance ERP systems.
  • Strong finance background (ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Experience in retail, manufacturing, or multi-entity environments.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform and integration with Business Central.
