Job summary

Coface in the United Kingdom is offering a 9‑month Finance & Transformation Intern role within our UK & Ireland Finance team. You will gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, analysis, business transformation and process improvement in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

You will work with data analytics and reporting tools, including Excel and Power BI, supporting month-end activities, data validation and process documentation while learning from senior finance professionals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive, curious and eager to learn.
• Experience using Power BI or other data visualisation tools.
• Interest in business transformation, process improvement and automation.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day finance activities and month-end processes.
• Assist with account reconciliations and financial controls.
• Support bank reconciliations and customer and supplier account reviews.
• Help ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives.
• Assist with Power BI reporting, dashboard development and Excel-based analysis.
• Participate in finance, systems and business transformation projects.
• Support internal and external audit activities.

Education

Degree in Finance or related field

Strong analytical and numerical skills

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
