Job summary

RSM UK is expanding its consulting team and seeking a finance transformation leader. You will guide large-scale finance transformation projects, drive process redesign, and implement technology solutions to modernise client finance functions.

You will run workshops, shape operating models, and work across FP&A, R2R, P2P, and O2C to deliver measurable value. A strong finance qualification and PQE are preferred; hybrid working and a supportive development environment await.

Qualifications

• Desirable finance qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT)
• Significant PQE experience with a portfolio of work in professional services and/or in-house consulting
• Experience leading large-scale finance transformation projects including process redesign and technology implementations
• Experience designing and implementing Finance Target Operating Models with governance frameworks
• Strong understanding of finance processes across FP&A, R2R, P2P, and O2C
• Ability to lead engagements, plan workshops, identify process gaps, and propose solutions to address them

Responsibilities

You’ll Make An Impact By

• Playing a critical role in helping our clients leverage the latest digital technologies and best practices to modernise their finance function and achieve business goals.
• Leading the team to deliver a high-quality service for our clients.
• Facilitating client workshops to gain an understanding of how their finance function operates on a day-to-day basis.
• Identifying relevant and practical improvement initiatives to help clients modernise their finance function and help support the delivery of their strategic vision.
• Leading and managing Finance Transformation projects including Business Development

What We Are Looking For

You should be able to demonstrate that you can lead and manage finance transformation projects, have a strong understanding of finance process design, and evidence that you have delivered value to the organisations you've worked with previously.

• [Desirable] Finance qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT etc)
• Significant PQE experience with an established portfolio of work experience, ideally within a professional services environment and/or a strong mix of inhouse business experience and consulting experience
• Experience in leading large-scale finance transformation projects, including process redesign, technology implementations (e.g. ERP upgrades, automation tools), and/or operating model redesign.
• Experience in designing and implementing Finance Target Operating Models, including organisational design, service delivery models and/or governance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of finance process and what 'good looks like' across a number of these with real depth in a couple at least (e.g. across financial planning & analysis (FP&A), record-to-report (R2R), procure-to-pay (P2P), and order-to-cash (O2C))
• Confident in leading engagements, planning and facilitating workshops to confirm objectives and requirements, identifying processes gaps, and analyse the impact and propose solutions to address these
