Job description

Pure Search are partnered with a Glasgow based FS company looking to hire into their tax team. They will consider applications from any background in finance, as long as the candidate is qualified and willing to learn. The role will be centred their UK & EMEA tax compliance team.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with a broad network of professionals across finance and other business areas to achieve shared objectives.
  • Take ownership of specific projects and deliverables, providing direction and expertise to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Maintain strict compliance with internal policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements while actively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Requirements
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial operations, business products, and client segments, with awareness of the broader market environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Skilled at delivering constructive feedback and driving continuous process improvement.
  • Solid experience in UK corporate tax compliance and reporting.
  • Familiarity with financial forecasting and tax accounting processes.
  • Holds a recognized professional qualification in finance or taxation (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CA, ATT, or CTA)

This is a full time role, based in Glasgow 3 days a week, paying up to £60,000 + bonus.
