A leading law firm in Birmingham is seeking an Implementation Project Manager for a 12-month contract. The role involves leading the upgrade of their key practice management system and requires excellent project management and communication skills. We have a great opportunity for an individual to join as an Implementation Project Manager (12-Month FTC) to join our Business Information Systems (BIS) team as an Implementation Project Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
In this role, you'll lead the upgrade/implementation of our key practice management system (PMS). This is a key transformation project focused on removing legacy customisations and delivering process and control improvements aligned with firm-wide priorities.
You'll bring a blend of project management expertise, technical understanding, and strong stakeholder communication skills to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and meets business requirements.
This is a contract role with an expected duration of up to 12 months, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact systems transformation.
The project, and this role, will be based in our Birmingham office, with travel to other UK and non-UK offices as required.
We're seeking a candidate with proven experience in project management, ideally within a legal environment, and particularly in implementing practice management systems. This role calls for strong leadership and organisational skills, along with technical proficiency in system implementation and integration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential for engaging stakeholders and driving project success. The ideal individual will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working effectively under pressure, with strong problem‑solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
