Job summary

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Senior Finance Manager to lead management accounting and provide financial leadership across service lines. You will work with the Director of Finance, Chief Executive and Executive Directors to ensure financial performance targets are met and robust reporting is available to support service improvement.

The role offers an opportunity to influence financial leadership within a major NHS Trust, with emphasis on SL reporting

Qualifications

• Degree evidence required
• CIPFA membership evidence
• DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) required

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and timely financial performance reports for Directorates within agreed timetable with Director of Finance
• Monitor Directorate financial performance and implement corrective actions with General Managers and budget holders
• Lead annual budget setting for Directorates
• Develop Service Line Reporting and ensure users understand and use SLRs
