Job summary

BNY is offering a Summer Internship Program in the Office of the CFO – Finance & Strategy to high-potential students. The 10-week experience accelerates development, builds professional networks, and provides exposure to a leading global financial services institution.

Interns will work within finance teams on strategic initiatives, capital management, and financial planning, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship from managers, senior leaders, and program managers.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred
• Graduating in Dec 2027 or Summer 2028
• On track to achieve a 2.1 or higher
• Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the countrywhere applying.

Responsibilities

• Assist with financial planning and analysis, reporting, market and competitor analysis, balance sheet analysis, capital management, and strategic planning.
• Conduct data analysis and provide insights into business performance, risks, and opportunities for efficiency.
• Collaborate across lines of business and corporate functions on projects that support decision-making, process improvement, and the use of emerging financial technologies.
