Overview

Responsibilities
  • Drive large-scale financial and strategic transformation programs across the bank.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Project Managers, providing direction on issue management, risk mitigation, and program governance.
  • Produce clear, structured program reports to track progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Work across Agile and Waterfall methodologies, bringing flexibility and structure where required.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, and Technology teams to ensure regulatory and financial reporting requirements are met.
  • Ensure alignment of subledger systems (Oracle) with financial reporting needs and transformation objectives.
Experience & Skills
  • Proven track record as a Program Manager (with prior Project Management experience).
  • Proven experience and understanding of delivering through full project lifecycle SDLC/PDLC using waterfall and agile approaches.
  • Financial Services experience is essential – ideally across banking, regulatory reporting, and financial product lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of finance (ledger, subledger, reg reporting) and trade lifecycle concepts.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks: Tax, VAT, FATCA rules, etc.
  • Prince2 or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience guiding teams through strategic transformation initiatives and navigating complex regulatory landscapes.
  • Ability to balance detail with strategic oversight – not a BA role, but requires strong appreciation of data, controls, and reporting.

The role is hybrid, in office 3 day/week.
